DreamSpark Premium

There are limitations set by Microsoft who can have access to the DreamSpark Premium service. Ant student at UMBC can get access to the regular DreamSpark service (details below).

To get access to DreamSpark Premium, please open a new ticket using the Web interface at http://my.cs.umbc.edu/ .

Class requirement

The DreamSpark Premium service is available to students and faculty who are a Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering major or to any student taking a CMPE, CMSC, or ENEE class. Software is to be used as a requirement for the class, such as projects.

Students who are not a major in any CSEE program will be required to show proof that they are currently registered in a CMPE, CMSC, or ENEE class.

Lab requirement

Students and faculty in CSEE Research Labs can have access to DreamSpark Premium to acquire and use software as part of a research project.

UMBC club requirement

Only students who are a Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering major may get access to DreamSpark Premium to acquire software for a use withing a UMBC club.
