How to Use
The Xilinx Integrated Synthesis Environment (ISE) provided is version 14.7. Because this legacy software is no longer natively supported, it runs inside a VirtualBox virtual machine (VM).
Release information and official documentation can be found here: AMD ISE VM Documentation.
- To start the software, use the Launch ISE shortcut on the Windows desktop. This will open the virtual machine, where you can access ISE and other related tools.
- Warning: Files saved inside the VM will be lost when it is shut down. If you log out or another user signs in, all unsaved files will be permanently deleted.
- To transfer files between the VM and the host system, use the synced folder:
- On the VM desktop: the
