Current Architectures
CSEEIT supports Pentium IV and higher, running Linux and Solaris x86.
Recommended hardware effective 2012/2013:
- Core i7
- RAM:
- 8 GB or more Desktop
- 16 GB or more Workstation
- 32 GB or more Server
- SATA boot hard disk
- SATA DVD+/-RW
- Intel 1G Ethernet
- Graphics:
- Intel integrated 3rd generation or better for Linux
- nVidia (atleast 512MB) for Solaris x86
- 1920x1080 22"/23" LCD monitor
Minimum hardware specification (an upgrade plan is needed if hardware is below this):
- Core2 Duo
- 2 GB RAM
- SATA boot hard disk
- SATA DVD +/-RW
- 256MB GPU card
- 1280x1024 18" LCD monitor
All systems which need support from CSEEIT must be approved.
