DreamSpark Premium

There are limitations set by Microsoft who can have access to the DreamSpark Premium service. Please open a new ticket using the Web interface at http://my.cs.umbc.edu/ to request DreamSpark Premium access.

Class requirement

The DreamSpark Premium service is available to students and faculty who are a Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering major or to any student taking a CMPE, CMSC, or ENEE class. Software is to be used as a requirement for the class, such as projects.

Students who are not a major in any CSEE program will be required to show proof that they are currently registered in a CMPE, CMSC, or ENEE class.

Lab requirement

Students and faculty in CSEE Research Labs can have access to DreamSpark Premium to acquire and use software as part of a research project.

UMBC club requirement

Only students who are a Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering major may get access to DreamSpark Premium to acquire software for a UMBC club use.
